Livingston Holds Off Oak Ridge

Livingston Academy, always one of the state's top Class AA teams, knocked off Oak Ridge 44-40 to claim seventh place in the field.

Mackenzie Sells had a big game for Livingston, throwing down 21 points and grabbing a team-best seven rebounds to pace her team. She was the only player in double figures for her team.

Oak Ridge got 11 points each from Dequesha McClanahan and Jazzmin Hazzard. Hazzard had a game-best nine rebounds and added four assists.

Livingston (14-3) held a 14-8 first quarter lead and widened that gap to 27-18 by intermission. Oak Ridge (12-3) closed to 36-32 by the end of three, but could get no closer than two points the rest of the game.
