Livingston Moves On

The Livingston Academy Lady Wildcats moved on in the tournament, beating Sycamore in a low-scoring 36-17 affair that eliminated the Lady War Eagles from the tourney.

After a 10-9 first quarter lead by Livingston, Sycamore managed a single point in the second frame and trailed 17-10 at the horn. The shooting woes (the Eagles made only 6-of-31 in the game for a cold 19 percent) continued in the second half and the Wildcats never trailed, even though they couldn't shake the Eagles until the final period.

Mackenzie Sells had 11 points to lead the winners (13-3). Sycamore (12-4) got eight points from Sara Bliss.
