Greeneville
advanced to the final day of this year's Ladies' Classic with a 56-45 win over county neighbor North
Greene.
The Lady Devils (11-4) jumped out to an early lead and never trailed.They were up by
eight at the end of the first and led 33-23 at the half.
The Lady Huskies (7-6) made a push
by outscoring Greeneville in the fourth quarter but by then it was too late.
Samantha Fender
had a double-double for Greeneville with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Brianna Kelley had seven points,
six rebounds and five assists. Chandler Christopher had eight points, five boards and six
assists.
For North Greene, Dakota White led the way with 15 points and 13 rebounds. Mariah
Britton scored 17.
