Greeneville survived a third quarter meltdown, blowing a
17-point lead before rallying in the fourth to get past Prairie 63-57.
The Lady Devils (10-5)
were up 38-21 at halftime, seemingly on cruise control. The Lady Falcons (6-2) had different
plans.
Prairie outscored Greeneville 22-2 in the third, capitalizing on seven Lady Devil
turnovers in the quarter to take a three-point lead into the fourth.
Greeneville regained
itself over the final eight minutes, pulling away down the stretch with 23-point period to survive
until the final day.
Nicole Dickson led three Lady Devils in double figures, scoring 17
and adding 11 rebounds for a double-double. Chandler Christopher scored 11 and Samantha Fender had 10
for Greeneville.
Angela Gelhar paced Prairie with 24 points and four steals. The Lady Falcons
scored 22 points off Greeneville turnovers.
The Lady Devils shot 72 percent from the foul
line (18-of-25).
