Maryville won the tournament opener, rolling to a 62-29 win over West Greene on Saturday morning.

Bailie Roberts led the Lady Rebels (6-4) with 23 points and 10 rebounds. Roberts also had three assists and three steals.

Maryville’s defense was the key, forcing West Greene into 24 turnovers. The Lady Rebels led 33-8 at halftime.

West Greene (3-9) got 10 points from Colleen Cavanagh.

Carrie Goodson and Alex Breazeale scored nine points each for the Lady Rebels.

Kayla Murphy scored eight for the Lady Buffs.
