Christian Academy of Knoxville earned a 53-50 win over Rockcastle County (Ky.) behind 16 points from Kaycee Heitzman and a dozen from Brianna Bryant.
The Lady Warriors (8-5) trailed 25-20 at intermission, but stormed back with an 18-8 run in the third quarter to take control. With the score knotted at 31-31 late in the third, CAK went on a 7-2 spurt to close out the quarter and hold a 38-33 advantage.
The Rockets (7-6) closed the gap down to three points on several occasions in the final period but could not catch up as CAK made the plays they needed to make. The Warriors scored 19 points off 16 Rockcastle turnovers.
The Rockets were led by Michaela Hunter with 17 points while Katie Cowan scored 10.
