California Girls Beat Huskies

Buena (Calif.) used an 11-0 run to start the second half and break opena tight game on their way to a 67-47 win over the North Greene Lady Huskies.

The Lady Bulldogs (10-6) got a game-best 26 points from Keani Albanez,13 points from Holly Holcomb and 11 points and a game best nine rebounds from Kacie Sowell. North Greene (9-4) countered with 11 points from reserve Jessie Adams and 10 points and seven rebounds from Dakota White.

The first half was tight, dead even at 6-6 at the close of one and Buena led 25-18 at intermission. But the Bulldogs stormed from thelocker room and played with much more intensity in the third, pulling away to a 45-30 advantage heading down the home stretch.
